With only one month until the FIFA World Cup 2022, injuries are a major concern for each of the competing countries. While clubs make it a point to avoid overusing their players during this time, injuries are scarcely something that can be controlled by humans. Any injury is regrettable, but it’s even more regrettable when it causes a player to miss a major competition like the World Cup.

Here is the list of footballers that are expected to miss the 2022 Qatar World Cup due to injuries is listed below:

Reece James

The England fullback footballer suffered an injury during his team Chelsea’s Uefa Champions League match against AC Milan, making him a serious doubt for the competition.

Kante, a defensive midfielder for Les Blues, will unquestionably miss the World Cup, dealing another severe blow to the team.
