Flipkart’s Big Billion Sale has started from 3rd October. Although you must have heard about many offers of this sale, the offers available on iPhones are being discussed a lot. Although Flipkart is considered to be a reliable online shopping platform sometimes it also gets defeated. Recently, a user has expressed a lot of displeasure as he had ordered an iPhone 12 in this sale but the soap bar has been delivered to his house. Let’s know about the whole matter.
According to the report in India, this matter has happened recently with a user named Simranpal Singh. Simranpal had ordered the iPhone 12 in Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale, but when he got the delivery, he saw that instead of the iPhone 12 in that box, two Nirma soap sticks had come packed. A page named GoAndroid has also uploaded its video on YouTube.
When Simranpal got the soap upon opening the box, he first refused the request for OTP confirming the delivery, which was informing the company about the pending delivery of the order.
He further played smart by not complying with the Wishmaster’s requests for the OTP. For the uninitiated, OTPs are used as a security measure to confirm the identity of the buyer and are typically the final step before a successful delivery. But of course, a delivery get marked as ‘successful’ is the last thing one would want in such a case.
After several days of effort and conversation with the delivery person, due to the option of open box delivery, Flipkart accepted its mistake and canceled the order, and initiated the refund. And then in a few days, the refund money came into the user’s account.
