Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does Helldivers 2 audio crackling happen specifically with Bluetooth headsets?

A: Bluetooth audio issues occur when Windows automatically switches to the low-quality “hands-free” profile during gameplay. This profile compresses audio significantly, causing crackling and static. Manually disabling this profile forces Windows to use the high-quality stereo profile instead.

Q: Will verifying game files delete my Helldivers 2 progress and settings?

A: No, verifying game files through Steam only checks and repairs corrupted game installation files. Your save progress, settings, and unlocked content remain completely safe as they’re stored separately from the core game files.
