After the WWE 2K20’s bad response, the launch of the next edition was cancelled and WWE 2K21 was never released. For the WWE 2K20, Sony has to issue refunds to unhappy customers as numerous players posted clips of bugs and other issues.
The game developers Visual Concepts took some time to fix the bugs and other issues. And now, after a gap of 1 year, 2K Sports and Visual Concepts are back again with WWE 2K22.
Twitter user Nils Ahrensmeier has revealed the exclusive first look of the WWE 2K22 cover photo. The Mexican-American wrestling legend, Rey Mysterio will be on the cover of WWE 2K22. The game will release in March 2022.

The game will be available for pre-order in the near future and 3-day early access will be available from 8th March 2022.
