If we use the 11 months and 12 days between the start of filming and the release of Season 1 as a guide, Season 2 could arrive sometime in Q3 2027 — that’s July to September. What’s on Netflix
Mark your calendars loosely — it’s a bit of a wait, but given how Season 1 ended, it’ll be worth every second.
What Is Finding Her Edge About?
For newcomers, here’s a quick catch-up. Finding Her Edge is a Canadian sports teen drama adapted from the novel of the same name by Jennifer Iacopelli. It follows Adriana, a competitive ice skater from a dynastic family, who is caught between her new on-ice partner Brayden and her former partner — and ex-boyfriend — Freddie. Wikipedia
Fighting to fund her family’s struggling rink, Adriana teams up with Brayden both on and off the ice, pretending to be a couple to win more sponsorships. Season 1 ended with a world championship win and a very big romantic choice. Season 2 has a lot to live up to.
The series is based on a BookTok-viral novel that gained a massive following before being adapted for screen — which explains exactly why it became such an instant hit.
Cast Returning for Season 2
The core cast includes Madelyn Keys as Adriana Russo, Cale Ambrozic as Brayden Elliott, Olly Atkins as Freddie O’Connell, Alexandra Beaton as Elise Russo, and Alice Malakhov as Maria Russo. All are expected to return for Season 2. Wikipedia
