The Premise

Final Interview follows six applicants who make it to the last round at a global IT company in a brutally competitive job market. At the venue, they find mysterious envelopes holding exposés about each of them. Suspicion spreads fast, and the group is soon locked in a tense mind game.

Meet Cha Joo Won

Bae Gang Hee plays Cha Joo Won, a realist who doesn’t get her hopes up easily, even when the company hints that everyone could be hired. Her blunt, unfiltered speech makes her seem cold, yet she is determined to land the job and sees this interview as her last chance.

She is also sharp. Cha Joo Won quickly senses the hidden tensions between candidates and stays levelheaded as new revelations surface, making firm decisions in a situation where only one person can be accepted.

Behind the Performance

Bae Gang Hee says the script was so gripping that she couldn’t let her guard down while reading it. For the role, she kept her expression neutral and her voice calm in everyday moments, then made subtle shifts in her gaze and breathing as the tension rose.

Director Kim Jung Hoon praised her instinct for reacting to her scene partners’ emotions. He says her sensitive yet vivid style brings a whole scene to life and lifts the performances of the actors around her.
