FIFA 22 has become a target for hackers, with several top players reporting stolen coins from the title. A number of well-known Ultimate Team traders have had their accounts broken into. They have not yet had any clarification or updates from EA, but a statement is reportedly on the way.
Players spend hundreds, if not thousands of real money on the game to improve their experience. The money spent allows them to open packs, which contain top rated FUT cards, helping them improve their online experience against fellow players.
Traders are experts at this, and are prime targets for hackers due to the amount of success that they have had with the game.

FUT Donkey spoke out about their unfortunate experience: “When I got hacked yesterday I was able to log in on console before they moved my coins and I decided to delete my club and hope EA would restore it later, this would also stop the hackers from getting any money from my coins. Here is the video of it as proof…”
The player had their club restored after it was deleted, but their coins were taken away.
“Firstly, I would like everyone who has been affected by the hacks to have their content returned. Secondly, the whole security system needs an overhaul, whether that means working with a different company (as it is outsourced) is not for me to say, but this can’t keep happening.”
