EA Sports comes up with their Team Of The Year event on FIFA every year. This year as well, TOTY has started on FIFA 21 from 22nd January. Millions worldwide have voted for the TOTY final XI, and the final TOTY XI was revealed on 22nd January.
But the most shocking part was that Lionel Messi couldn’t make it to the final XI. The people didn’t vote for him maybe because of Barcelona’s recent slump, and Messi also wanted to leave Barcelona for a new challenge, which affected him personally.
Now, EA Sports have announced the winner of the 12th man. There was a vote between Lionel Messi, Heung-Min Son and Thiago Alcantara. The FIFA 21 players had to vote by choosing a loan player among the three nominees.
Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi has won the vote for the 12th man and he has now received a 98-rated RW TOTY card.
