Meet Fiora, the AI Behind CAIR
At the heart of CAIR is Fiora, an AI chatbot users can ask direct, plain-language questions like their six-month credit trend or repayment patterns. Instead of jargon-heavy reports, Fiora responds with clear explanations paired with visualized trends pulled straight from a user’s own credit history. With support across six major Indian languages, the tool is designed to reach a much wider base of users than typical credit-tracking apps.

Beyond the Score: Goals, Simulations, and Real Fixes
CAIR doesn’t stop at showing a number. It offers goal-based credit improvement plans and score simulation, letting users preview how a specific financial decision might affect their score before they actually make it. The tool also flags real issues directly — whether that’s rising credit utilization or recent hard inquiries — and lays out exactly what to address first. All of this runs on data shared with explicit user consent, in line with Fibe’s existing privacy practices.
Why This Matters for India’s Growing Credit Market
Digital lending adoption in India has expanded quickly, with digital-first lenders’ consumer reach growing from roughly 14.4 million users in December 2022 to about 23.3 million by December 2024. At the same time, India’s middle-income household segment — the country’s largest — is projected to grow from around 173 million households in FY26 to nearly 208 million by FY31, with much of that growth coming from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. As more first-time borrowers enter the credit system, tools like CAIR aim to close the gap between having a score and actually understanding it.
According to Fibe’s Chief Product & Analytics Officer Balakrishnan Narayanan, responsible borrowing starts with awareness, and CAIR is built to move users beyond a single score toward a fuller picture of their financial habits.
