Fauji 2 Trailer Released on SRK’s Birthday, Promises a Bold New Take on the Classic Series

To mark Shah Rukh Khan‘s birthday, the makers of Fauji 2 dropped an exciting new trailer and the cast looks larger than life to bring back this old-school classic! While the show is all set to go on air this November on Doordarshan, fans have expressed a sense of excitement for a tabloid update to the series. Leading this fresh adaptation are Gauahar Khan and Vicky Jain along with a colorful supporting cast. An exciting mix of nostalgia and contemporary storytelling, the trailer provides a peek into a narrative that celebrates the bravery and bond of India’s armed forces in a manner that appeals to the older and new generations alike.

Sandeep Singh, who serves as producer and creative director, unveiled the trailer on his Instagram, where he expressed his excitement with the message: “Mark your calendars and brace yourselves for the next generation of Faujis! A new era of courage and sacrifice begins.” His enthusiasm was echoed by Gauahar Khan, who shared her excitement in an Instagram story, saying, “Yayyy trailer out now! Watch till the end.”

Singh serves as producer and creative head on the ambitious series, with Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi co-producing, and with Sameer Hallim coming on as Creative Head. Sonu Nigam lends his voice to this title track composed by Shreyas Puranik, which forms a good musical base for the production. Fauji 2’s story was written by Vishal Chaturvedi, with the screenplay penned by Amarnath Jha and the dialogues by Anil Choudhary and Chaitanya Tulsyan.

Notably, this revival also marks the directorial debut of Abhinav Pareek, who has previously worked on Sab Moh Maaya Hai and A Wedding Story. Co-director Nishant Chandrashekhar also features in the project. Directed by Rajesh Khera, Fauji 2 streams from November 18 on DD National from Monday to Thursday at 9 PM.
