It’s been a while since the launch of Far Cry 5 and our struggle with the Zombies. Since then, we have to anxiously wait for the launch of Ubisoft’s next entry into the Far Cry series. But due to covid-19, the release of Far Cry 6 has been delayed tremendously.
However, recently a new update has surfaced online regarding the Far Cry 6. According to sources, the now has a new launch date, which has been confirmed through Xbox Store. Initially, Far Cry 6 was supposed to be launched on February 18th, 2021 and but now, due to covid, that date has been officially shifted to May 26th, 2021. Of course, the term officially here refers to Xbox Store, Ubisoft on the other hand, is yet to confirm the official date of the game.
The game includes high-profile actor Giancarlo Esposito as the game’s villain, Anton Castillo. It is set on the fictional island of Yara, which is inspired by Cuba, and it will be the ‘largest playground’ yet seen in a Far Cry game.
“Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. As Yara’s dictator, Anton Castillo intends to restore his nation to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution.”
