Fake Profile Season 2 Release Date, Plot, Cast, and Expectation
Netflix has renewed the second season of the erotic Colombian thriller, Fake Profile. The show has been renewed for a second season. Fake Profile or Perfil Falso is mainly a Colombian Netflix Original Spanish-language romantic thriller show made by Pablo Illanes. The show has been produced by Colombian studio AG Studios along with Federico Castillo, Silvia Durán Cristina Echeverri, and Rodrigo Guerrero are executive producers.
Camila makes a sexy and attractive profile on the online dating app Spice and seems to be the man of her dreams. The problem arises when her daydreams soon take a turn into nightmares, and Camila concludes with falling into the honeytrap of the web of sex, lies, and deception.
Fake Profile Season 2 Netflix Renewal Status
For this season, Netflix has taken took two weeks to make any such decision to renew the Fake Profile for a second season. The good news was declared through Netflix’s official Twitter.
The first season of Fake Profile was hit on Netflix on May 31st, 2023, the fantastic thriller is dominating the top of the Non-English TV charts. Within the first five days, Fake Profile gained a total of 76,310,000 hours viewed. We entered into the third week (June 7th – June 15th, 2023), and now it wasn’t as strong as the first. However, the series is still capable to gain 65,730,000 hours. Within the two weeks, the series has been seen for a total of 142,040,000 hours viewed.
Fake Profile Season 2: Expectation
After several twists and turns that the first season was literally an emotional rollercoaster ride. The way the first season of the series ended, we are expecting anything can happen in the second season.
She has faced off a do-or-die experience in Colombia, Camila, with David in tow, came back to Las Vegas where she is doing her career as a dancer at the Golden Lips. While choosing David over Miguel, Camila is happier. Miguel also comes back to Las Vegas, however, he and Camila are no longer on terms of speaking.
It seems to be a telenovela without any of the sparks between Camila and Miguel getting reignited somehow, so we are going to see the pair together once again in season 2. After running behind Miguel all the way to Colombia, where she can able to discover that he had been cheating on his wife, Angela, it would be ironic if Camila were to cheat on David.
Angela is in jail for the accidental death of her father Pedro, however, credits go to her father’s huge wealth that she seems to be able to pay for her freedom. Now Angela is very angry, after getting free she will definitely follow Miguel and Camila to pay the pair for their adultery, ruining her life and family.

Fake Profile Season 2 Release Date
If the shooting of the second season has not been started immediately, we aren’t expecting to watch the second season of Fake Profile on Netflix before the end of 2023.
After getting the official confirmation of the production status of Season 2, we’ll be better suited to estimate its release date. As the filming starts at some time in 2023, we would expect to see the fantastic romantic thriller on Netflix sometime in 2024.
