Hollywood actor Jason Momoa has joined Vin Diesel’s 10th instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise. He is all set to begin the shooting with Vin Diesel and the regular cast of the franchise like Sung Kang, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel and Michelle Rodriguez. He was in final negotiations to join Vin Diesel and the rest of the cast in what is being called Fast & Furious 10 as a working title. The plot details are getting their finishing touch, the Aquaman actor could be one of the villains. However, Universal Studios had no comment.
Justin Lin made his comeback to the franchise with 2021’s F9: The Fast Saga and is ready to direct the 10th and 11th instalments of the franchise which will be the conclusion of the core movies. Earlier, the filmmaker has given five films for the long term franchise starting with 2006’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
Chris Morgan is the scriptwriter of the film again, Diesel and Lin are the producers and the film will be released by the Hollywood studio Universal on May 19, 2023.

The Fast and Furious franchise began in 2001and has made $6.6 billion globally. The figure includes the earnings of the 2019 movie spinoff Hobbs & Shaw, starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
Recently, Momoa was featured in filmmaker Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune. He is ready to reprise his role of superhero Aquaman in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, a sequel to his 2018 hit Aquaman.
In the past few years, the Fast movies have stayed pumped and relevant not only by raising up the scale of the stunts but by beefing up the call sheet with turns by Theron, Johnson, Jason Statham and John Cena, even throwing Helen Mirren into the mix.
