Why a Move to Everton is Best for James Rodriguez?

James had a very impressive stint at the 2014 FIFA World cup with his national side. His performances attracted the interest of the biggest club in the world, Real Madrid.

James sealed a move to the Spanish capital in the 14/15 season for €75 million from Monaco. His debut season at the Bernabeu was quite impressive as the player managed to score 17 and set up 18 in 46 appearances across all competitions.

Th following season he only made 32 appearances for Los Blancos, scoring 8 and assisting 10.

The player continued to be plagued by injuries as he missed a lot of games throughout the season, hampering his productivity on the pitch.

Eventually, he was loaned out to Bayern Munich for two seasons. Although James showed promise under Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern, he could not replicate the same under Nico Kovac and was starved for minutes upon his return to Real Madrid.

A move to the Premier League could help revive the career of the player. Since Ancelotti is familiar with Rodriguez, he could try to work his magic once more to get the best out of the playmaker. The best thing about to the move is the hike in minutes that the player will get on the pitch.

James Rodriguez has enough talent to become the star player at Goodison Park. All that remains to be seen is whether he can stay fit and consistent enough to impact his team on the pitch. However, with his former coach at the helm, we can expect great things from this reunion.
