While all the groups are expected to be tightly contested, Group A and B in particular stand out as the toughest to predict. With hosts Germany, in-form Hungary, Scotland and Switzerland, it could be a tough task considering the faltering performances from Germany over the last few international breaks.

But Group B presents a whole other challenge, with defending European champions Italy drawn against Croatia, Spain and the underdogs, Albania.

Similarly, Group D also has an outside chance at being the most entertaining with France, Netherlands and Austria drawn together. They will be joined by one of Poland, Wales, Finland or Estonia, all of whom could emerge as a wildcard in the group.
