The Esportz Premier Series 2022 edition culminated earlier this year in a resounding triumph, as gamers from across India converged in Mumbai for an electrifying Grand Finale, witnessing the crowning of Revenant Esports and Orangutan Gaming as the proud champions of the Yearlong Championship.

Featuring electrifying Influencer Showdowns, renowned esports personalities making appearances, a plethora of prominent brand collaborations, immersive gaming experience zones, and exhilarating top-tier esports competitions, the event transformed into an absolute paradise for gamers.

Esportz Premier Series 2023 announces Roadmap with the addition of Sim Racing Genre and Counter-Strike 2: India’s Yearlong Esports Championship will conclude with a LAN event in January 2024

Continuing to build upon and embodying the essence that made it a standout event, Esportz.in, the gaming division of GIG WORK PVT LTD (A Capital Group Company), is thrilled to showcase the highly anticipated roadmap for this year of their flagship IP, ‘Esportz Premier Series: India’s Yearlong Esports Championship’. With a total cumulative prize pool of INR 35,00,000 and five esports games spanning across four genres, this season is bigger and better. Started in April 2023, it will conclude with a Grand Finale in January 2024 over LAN.

Esportz Premier Series has always been committed to providing an open-for-all approach to the Indian gaming & esports community. Whether one is a newcomer to the scene, an amateur or an experienced pro, everyone has an equal chance to compete and win in the tournament. The series’ dedication to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment has helped to cultivate a community of passionate gamers who share a love for esports. With its focus on fair play and sportsmanship, the Esportz Premier Series provides a platform where anyone can hone their skills, challenge themselves, and compete at the highest level.

The 2023 edition is showcasing the finest players in a range of genres, including PC, Mobile, Console, and Sim Racing. The addition of Sim Racing to the tournament marks a significant milestone for the Esportz Premier Series, as it expands the range of games on offer to a broader audience. The featured games include popular esports titles such as Pokemon Unite, FIFA 23, Free Fire MAX, Counter-Strike 2, and Assetto Corsa Competizione, which are bringing a new level of excitement and competition to the event.

Pokemon Unite and FIFA 23 have completed their set for this season with four online qualifiers. Notable qualified teams and players include TrueRippers, Team MG, S8UL Esports, and Clown 5 for Pokemon Unite, and Shubham Jadhav, Emaad Ahmed, Saransh Jain, and Charanjot Singh for FIFA 23. Meanwhile, Free Fire Max has just wrapped up its first qualifier, with TSG Army, Head Hunters, and TWOB earning their spots in the grand finale, leaving three more qualifiers yet to be played. In addition, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Counter-Strike 2 have commenced their initial qualifiers, each having a total of two qualifiers for this season.

“We are pleased to showcase the third edition of the Esportz Premier Series and the expansion of our gaming genres and titles,” said Santosh Smith, Director – Capital Group. “This year’s event is set to be even more diverse than previous editions, with the addition of the Sim Racing genre and new esports titles. We look forward to welcoming gamers and keep supporting the Indian Gaming Community from all around to make the best of the opportunity.”
