Fashion covers usually sell glamour. This one sells something softer: a wet nose, a purr and a reminder that thousands of animals are still waiting for a home. ELLE Korea’s November special edition brings back “Hello, Little Love,” and this year’s cast of stars is bigger, warmer and more heartfelt.
What Is “Hello, Little Love”?
Debuting last year, ELLE Korea’s project was the first cover series in the magazine’s history to feature people and animals together. Now in its second season, it explores how small beings make our world bigger and more beautiful. It starts from a simple belief: one photo and one encounter can change someone’s tomorrow. It also never forgets the reality that countless animals are still abandoned. This year’s message is “Living with Animals.”

The Stories Behind the Shoots
Kim Hye Ja posed with her dogs Gureum and Susu. She recalled talking to Susu’s belly before Gureum was born, wishing for a healthy puppy and an easy delivery.
Kim Yuna posed with Tony and Cookie and spoke firmly about responsibility. She said she was happy from the moment she was offered the shoot, and that if her photos help even one dog find a family, that is wonderful. Her message was blunt: anyone who brings a pet home must take responsibility for it until the end.

Seo In Guk waited patiently for two newly met cats to move, and the result looks natural and gentle. He said pets give so much love, and these abandoned friends deserve the same love in return.
Idols and Their Little Loves
Momo said her dogs Boo and Dobby feel like a part of her, and that they are the driving force that helps her work harder every day. Huening Kai, who has long adored cats through his family’s Aqua and Ruby, appeared with Popo and asked everyone to remember cats like her that deserve love but haven’t met their families yet.
Sung Han Bin shared the story of Bori, abandoned in a box a decade ago and now a true family member. He treasures how Bori wiggles through everyone each morning to wake them up, as if a tiny heart floats above her face.
A Message to Future Families
Kim Jae Won addressed the people who might adopt Hakoo, Noonbyeol and Pooreun. He told them to take good care of the dogs and praised their decision, then invited them to visit him on set for photos and a meal. Annie closed the lineup with a family portrait alongside Echo and Koda. She said she knows her dogs can’t live a hundred years, so instead of grieving ahead of time she’ll hug them once more and give them another sweet potato.
Where to See the Covers?
The project spans eight teams of people and animals, with 16 cover variations in all. You can find them in ELLE’s November special edition and on its website. For more entertainment and lifestyle updates, keep reading Technosports.
