Elden Ring: How to Beat Malenia Without Summons

HEADLINE: “Taking on Malenia, Blade of Miquella, in Elden Ring is one of the toughest challenges you’ll face, much like getting to know the diverse roster of Overwatch 2 heroes.”

Elden Ring: Understanding Malenia’s Attack Patterns

Overview of Malenia’s Key Moves

Malenia’s combat style mixes quick melee attacks with healing abilities. Her signature move lets her heal a bit of the damage she deals, making it essential for you to minimize the hits she lands. Get ready for a blend of swift slashes and heavy overhead strikes, especially during her second phase. That’s when she sprouts scarlet rot wings and gains new attacks.

Timing and Dodging Techniques

Getting your timing right is crucial. Malenia often strikes in rapid succession, so precise dodging is a must. Keep an eye on her wind-up animations to predict her moves. If you roll just before her attack hits, you can dodge damage while setting up for a counterattack.

Importance of Stamina Management

Your stamina is vital in this fight. Every dodge and attack drains it, so managing it wisely is key. Avoid spamming attacks; doing so will leave you open when you need to dodge. Look for openings and only strike when you’ve got enough stamina to evade her next move.

Effective Strategies for Solo Combat

Weapon Choice and Upgrades

Selecting the right weapon can greatly impact your battle against Malenia. Weapons with high damage and fast attack speeds work best. Upgrading your weapon to the highest level possible ensures you hit hard. Popular choices include the Moonveil and Rivers of Blood katanas, known for their speed and special abilities. Utilizing Environment to Your Advantage

The arena where you face Malenia has some environmental benefits. Use the pillars and walls to create space when needed. If your health is low, retreating and using your surroundings can help you regroup and plan your next move.

Healing Strategies During the Fight

Malenia’s healing ability makes your healing items even more crucial. Use your healing flasks wisely; try to heal during her attack animations or when she’s recovering from a missed strike. Items that boost your damage resistance or enhance your healing can give you a much-needed edge.

Managing Focus and Patience

Lastly, keeping your cool is essential when facing Malenia. It’s easy to feel frustrated, especially with her healing ability. Staying calm and focused will help you read her patterns and respond better. Each attempt is a chance to learn, so don’t rush it.
