Eden Hazard’s big-money transfer to Real Madrid has been nothing short of a disaster. The Chelsea legend has failed to capture even a fraction of his form in Spain, with consistent injuries making it even more difficult for him to play.
With one and a half years remaining on his contract, the Belgian is no longer a part of the plans of the club. As a result, they want him to leave since he isn’t getting regular playing time either.
Eden Hazard not a part of Real Madrid’s plans anymore
Since being one of the best players in the Premier League, Eden Hazard’s stock has dropped by a huge margin. Younger players like Rodrygo Goes and Marco Asensio have all stepped ahead of him in the pecking order.
With him being restricted to the bench, and barely any playing time, Real Madrid have made it clear that they want him to leave. However, with a lack of playing time, no suitors have come forth either. The Spanish giants hope that the World Cup with Belgium will revive his will to play.
And this would cause him to look elsewhere to get more playing time. A January transfer could happen, but it depends on the player to accept a new destination.
