Intel has launched its new 13th Gen SKUs in the market price recently and its reviews are already here, most of them do point out Intel wins against AMD but not by a huge margin which Inte advertises at. However, in terms of gaming, yes, Intel wins by a greater margin that makes them brag about being the new Gaming champion.
The first time we see a client processor reach 40k points mark in Cinebench R23 multi-core test for the 24-core Intel Core i9-13900K. However, AMD isn’t too far either because with 16 cores it is abe to provide almost 38k points which is again very impressive if you compare with last-gen Ryzen 5000 series or even Intel’s 12th Gen.
The 10-12% improvement against the Ryzen 9 7950X in single-core proves to be descisve in gaming and a slight 5% lead in multi-core makes the new Intel processor a champion in the market race. While some synthetic benchmarks give Ryzen 9 7950X an edge but most give the Core i9-13900K a clear advantage.
So, as per early reviews of these 13th Gen SKUs, it stands that Intel is getting back its crown while AMD’s dominance is short lived but yes Zen 4’s efficiency is still better than Intel. It will be interesting to see how AMD answers to Intel’s latest chips and the performance improvements it brings because it is rumoured that AMD will launch Ryzen 7000X3D chips to again intensiy this battle.
