EA Sports FC 25 Kicks Off: Release Date, Cover Stars, and Early Access Revealed

Football fans rejoice! The wait is over. EA Sports has officially announced EA Sports FC 25, the successor to last year’s EA Sports FC 24. This news comes hot on the heels of Spain’s victory in the Euros Championship, further amping up the excitement for the new season.

While details remain scarce, the announcement has sent ripples of excitement through the gaming community. Here’s what we know so far about EA Sports FC 25:

Star Power on the Cover

Forget picking sides – EA Sports FC 25 goes all-in with a star-studded cast for its Ultimate Edition cover. Football legends like David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Gianluigi Buffon grace the box art, alongside modern superstars like Aitana Bonmatí and the highly-touted Jude Bellingham. Speaking of Bellingham, the young phenom gets his own solo cover treatment for the Standard Edition.

Release Date and Platform Availability

Mark your calendars! According to reliable leaks from billbil-kun on Dealabs, EA Sports FC 25 is expected to launch on September 27, 2024. The game will be available across a wide range of platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This ensures accessibility for football fans regardless of their preferred platform.

Pricing and Early Access

Leaks suggest a price point of $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition, while the Standard Edition might be slightly more affordable at $69.99. While the specifics of the Ultimate Edition haven’t been confirmed, this price tag has some fans questioning the value proposition considering the yearly release cycle of the franchise.

However, there’s a perk for early birds willing to shell out extra. The Ultimate Edition reportedly grants a coveted 7-day Early Access period, allowing players to jump into the action a week before the official release of the Standard Edition.

What to Expect from the Official Reveal

While leaks have provided some insights, the official announcement, happening today, is likely to be a treasure trove of information. We can expect details on gameplay improvements, new features, potential licensing updates, and of course, a closer look at the in-game action.

Looking Ahead

With a legendary history behind it, EA Sports FC is poised to continue its dominance in the football gaming landscape. Whether the new iteration offers enough innovation to justify its price tag remains to be seen. But one thing’s for sure – the wait is almost over, and football fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating the official reveal today!
