Dusan Vlahovic could become a Juventus player within the next few days. The Bianconeri are preparing to submit an official bid for the player in the upcoming hours to sign him.
Fiorentina had mentioned a price tag worth €70 million for their star striker, and Juventus have made an offer worth €75 million for him. The two clubs are in direct contact for the transfer, and could reach an agreement before the winter transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.
Dusan Vlahovic on the verge of joining Juventus
The Serbian striker was heavily rumoured a top target for Arsenal over the last few months, but it now appears that Juventus have made contact with Fiorentina to wrap up the deal.
The final decision is now with the player, whether he wants to move at this stage of the season or not. Vlahovic only has 18 months remaining on his deal with I Viola, and he has told the club that he won’t be renewing his deal any further.
As a result, Fiorentina will have to sell the striker in the summer anyway, or risk losing him for free in 2023. Right now, they can receive a much higher fee than in the summer, and if Juventus can reach an agreement with them, they can land a top striker for the future.
Signing Dusan Vlahovic would mean that Alvaro Morata will be able to sign for Barcelona, having been linked with a move back to Spain in recent weeks. Morata’s options are open at this stage, the same as Vlahovic.
