More than two thousand COVID-19 positive cases are detected in India till now and these figure is increasing exponentially. Even though the lockdown is going on. All the state governments, central government, doctors, health care staff, police, and so many volunteer groups are trying to combat this situation on the field. As to keep a social distance is one of the main safety measures to stay away from the virus, bots are the best option on the field. So, an Indian Startup developed and deployed drowns to disinfect public places.

This startup is named Marut Dronetech, founded by IIT Guwahati alumni. The Marut team is working with the Telangana government across the state to spray disinfectants, monitor gatherings, check the human temperature and more.

They used this drowns to spray disinfectants in Karimnagar where some Indonesians and a local person tested COVID-19 positive. And this method keeps the workers away from infection risk. It is quite obvious that drowns can work faster than traditional methods and with more efficiency.

Drowns with camera and speakers are used to monitor gatherings, crowded places and to give instructions. There are also drowns for checking the body temperature of people on the road. It will help to identify affected patients. The medical delivery in this lock-down days is also done by the drowns.

As per a recent trial, this drowns can cover 12 km of distance in just 8 minutes. This drowns are becoming a major weapon against COVID-19 battle. Hope this process will be adopted by the other state governments soon. And we will win this fight for sure.
