Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. is one of India’s leading multinational pharmaceutical companies. It mainly markets and manufactures various pharmaceuticals in Indian along with foreign countries.
A couple of days earlier, the company declares that they are going to isolate all data center services as they detect a cyber attack. It’s mainly a preventive measure.
The Chief Information Officer Mr. Mukesh Rathi said in his statement, ” We are anticipating all services to be up within 24 hours,”. He also added, “We do foresee any major impact on our operations due to this incident.”
Usually, the share value of Dr. Reddy’s dropped by 1% after this announcement and goes further 4.3% when ET Now reported this news on television.
Dr. Reddy’s is one of the firms testing a vaccine of the COVID-19. It already got approval for human clinical trials in India in the earlier days. The Russian Direct Investment Funt will send 100 million doses of the vaccine to India for the trial. The vaccine would be formed in the South Asian nation and a small percentage of that could be returned back to Russia.
