One cricket match, two coordinated blue outfits, and the internet had already written the wedding invite. Actor and marketing strategist Sahiba Bali just proved that sometimes the best clapback is a well-timed Instagram Story.
How the Rumor Started
The chatter erupted after Arjun Kapoor and Sahiba were spotted together at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London during the India vs. England third ODI. Sitting side by side, both dressed in shades of blue, the pair’s photos and videos spread fast — and so did the speculation about a new Bollywood romance.
Sahiba Bali’s Clapback, Step by Step
| Moment | What Happened |
|---|---|
| Spark | Spotted with Arjun Kapoor at Lord’s, both in blue |
| Viral Trigger | Fan photos/videos from the match went viral |
| Response Part 1 | Shared a screenshot of someone mistaking her for Anushka Sharma near cricket legends |
| Response Part 2 | Posted a stadium photo with Arjun, captioned “Don’t believe everything pt 2” |
| Outcome | Rumors defused with humor, no formal statement needed |
Rather than issuing a denial, Sahiba let sarcasm do the talking, pairing both Story slides with the same cheeky caption to make her point land. It’s not the first time the two have sparked chatter either — their playful social media banter, including a birthday shoutout where she called him “sabka bestie,” has kept fans guessing before.
Arjun himself has stayed quiet on the rumors so far.
