Low Light and Tracking
The camera uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor with 2.4 µm pixels and 13.5 stops of dynamic range, which DJI says helps in low light. A 4nm chip handles subject tracking that keeps moving subjects centred in either 16:9 or 9:16.
Stabilisation includes 360° HorizonSteady, which keeps the horizon level even if the camera rotates. The camera is waterproof, so it suits swimming, cycling and trekking. See DJI for a company background.
Value and Reviews
The 15% discount is the smallest among DJI deals, but the camera is a newer model than older Action cameras and the listing has nearly 2,000 ratings.
Check the combo contents in the box, and whether extra batteries or a mount kit are included. Read recent reviews for heat and battery performance during long 4K shoots.
Who Should Buy It, and Who Should Skip
It suits cyclists, divers, travellers and vloggers who want a rugged camera with strong low-light and stabilisation. Skip it if a phone is enough for you, or if you prefer a cheaper older model.
