“Dive Into You”: How WJSN’s Bona and Cast Turned Real Friendship Into On-Screen Magic

K-drama fans, mark your calendars — “Dive Into You” dives onto screens on September 26, and the cast just gave fans a reason to be even more excited: their chemistry is apparently too real.

The fantasy-romance drama follows Yoon Ha Na, an A-list actress played by WJSN’s Kim Ji Yeon (Bona), who swaps bodies with her twin brother Yoon Ha Ru (Jang Se Hyuk). Using an old camcorder to time-travel, the siblings race to save Ha Na’s first love, Jung Woo Jae (Park Seo Ham), from a tragic fate.

But offscreen, there’s no time-travel needed — the cast says their bond happened instantly.

Dive Into You: Overview

Bona, a member of the K-pop group WJSN, said the set’s playful energy made filming feel effortless, while Moon Seung You even used her character’s name for a sweet pun: “Yeverybody, I Sarang [love] you.”

That kind of natural rapport is exactly what makes ensemble K-dramas addictive — you’re not just watching characters fall in love or fight for each other, you’re watching real friends do it.

“Dive Into You” premieres September 26 at 10:30 p.m. KST, streaming with English subtitles on Viki.
