Dhurandhar: The Revenge Smashes ₹606 Crore in Hindi — Ranveer Singh’s Revenge on Box Office Records Is Complete

Ranveer Singh came back swinging with Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and honestly? The box office hasn’t caught its breath since. On its second Friday, the film didn’t just hold — it dominated, making history in the process.

Day-Wise Box Office Collections: Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Hindi)

Why the 2nd Friday Number Is So Special

Let’s put this in perspective. The 2nd Friday collection of ₹36 crore nett is the highest-ever second-Friday number of all time, surpassing the previous record of ₹31 crore held by its own predecessor, Dhurandhar. A sequel breaking its own franchise’s record on day nine — that’s the kind of stat that makes trade analysts sit up straight.

What makes this even more remarkable is the pricing context. The film had been running on weekend ticket rates through the weekdays, which typically leaves no room for a Friday jump. Despite this, it successfully held strong and even grew in places where Ram Navami was a holiday on Friday. In most scenarios, such a pricing structure would’ve caused a dip — here it didn’t flinch.

The Drop That Wasn’t

The decline from Thursday — a holiday — was an outstanding 13 percent, which is a remarkable hold by any standard. For context, most big films see drops of 30–50% from a holiday to a regular Friday. Dhurandhar: The Revenge barely blinked.

What’s Next? The ₹700 Crore Weekend Chase

The film is expected to collect over ₹150 crore nett in the second weekend, which would push it well past ₹700 crore nett by Sunday. From Monday onwards, it will be a head-to-head battle with the first Dhurandhar‘s daily records — a fascinating internal rivalry that only proves how dominant this franchise has become.
