There was one market left. One final territory the Dhurandhar franchise hadn’t claimed. And now, with a quiet but historic milestone, that’s been ticked off too.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has officially become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time in the United Kingdom — surpassing the mighty Pathaan — and completing a landmark clean sweep across every major overseas market.

Why the UK Record Was the Hardest to Crack for Dhurandhar: The Revenge?
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has collected GBP 4.388 million in the United Kingdom, emerging as the highest-grossing Indian film of all time in the country, surpassing Pathaan. The film is still running and is expected to close around GBP 4.45–4.50 million.
This one was genuinely the toughest nut to crack. The UK market has a substantial presence of Pakistani and Bangladeshi diaspora, which makes up a significant chunk of the audience for Indian cinema. The patriotic subject matter of the Dhurandhar films probably kept some of that audience away — which is why the first film missed the UK record, ending up fourth behind Pathaan, Saiyaara, and Jawan.
The franchise’s persistence paid off. Dhurandhar: The Revenge was already the top grosser for Indian cinema in Canada and Australia. In the United States, it is second only behind Baahubali: The Conclusion — but for Hindi cinema specifically, it is the top grosser. With the UK record now in hand, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is the #1 Bollywood film across all major overseas markets except UAE-GCC, where it didn’t release.
That’s not just a box office record — that’s a generational statement about the global reach of Bollywood in 2026.
