The Trailer Dropping on March 3 — And It’s a Full-Blown Action Spectacle
According to exclusive inside reports, the Dhurandhar 2 trailer is likely to drop on March 3, 2026 — just 16 days before the film’s theatrical release. Sources indicate the trailer will showcase Ranveer Singh’s full-blown action avatar, with the film set to be bigger and bolder in every way compared to its predecessor.
The teaser that released a couple of weeks ago already generated a strongly positive response from audiences. But if the trailer delivers on what insiders are promising — expect it to blow the roof off.
Nearly 4 Hours Long — And That’s a Statement in Itself
Here’s the detail that truly sets Dhurandhar 2 apart: Director Aditya Dhar has finalized a runtime of 3 hours and 55 minutes for the film — making it the fifth longest Hindi film in cinema history, after Tamas, LOC: Kargil, Mera Naam Joker, and Sangam.
That’s not padding. That’s confidence. Aditya Dhar is clearly not interested in trimming ambition for commercial safety — the same fearless approach that made the original Dhurandhar a blockbuster.
The sequel will pick up directly where part one ended. The film brings back the original ensemble including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, and Sara Arjun, while Yami Gautam joins in an action-heavy and narratively crucial guest appearance. Akshaye Khanna is also rumoured to return in flashback portions.
According to Wikipedia, Ranveer Singh is widely regarded as one of Hindi cinema’s most versatile and high-energy performers, known for bringing relentless intensity to action-heavy roles — exactly what Dhurandhar 2 demands of him.
