India has been badly hit by the second wave of the COVID-19 virus. This time it is much more deadly than the previous time. India is recording over 4 lakhs of positive cases daily with thousands of people dying.

The ongoing IPL 2021 tournament was also postponed indefinitely due to the rising number of COVIS1-19 cases in the bio-bubble. The IPL management is now trying to give a safe passage to the foreign players to return to their country.

“Meeting our Captain…Respect and love for the movement he has started working on for COVID relief… No words just Respect and Prayers for all his efforts !!! @imVkohli,” Kanal captioned his post on his Twitter post.

CSK captain Dhoni has also decided not to leave the team’s hotel till all players in the squad depart safely for their hometowns. He further added that the foreign players should be given the preference since the IPL was conducted in India, after which the local players should leave for their homes.

“Mahi bhai said that he will be the last person to leave the hotel. He wanted foreigners to leave first, then the Indian players. He will be taking the last flight tomorrow when everyone reaches their home safe and secure,” a member of CSK told Indian Express.

CSK organised a 10-seater chartered flight to shift players from Delhi to Rajkot, Mumbai. Another charter plane dropped players from Chennai and Bangalore. Dhoni is set to leave for Ranchi on Thursday.
