Bollywood’s most beloved laugh riot is returning — and this time, the madness gets a massive upgrade. Director Indra Kumar has finally opened up about Dhamaal 4, and what he’s described sounds nothing short of a Bollywood adventure spectacle with comedy baked right into the chaos. If you grew up quoting lines from the earlier films, buckle up — this one’s going to hit differently.
What Is Dhamaal 4 All About?
In an exclusive interview, Indra Kumar revealed that Dhamaal 4 is a larger-than-life adventure centred around a dangerous treasure hunt. Think sinking ships, raging hurricanes, and life-threatening hurdles — with the gang cracking jokes through all of it.
“There are too many hurdles and too many things happening. To get to that money is a task in itself. It is very life-risking for all the characters. But in that, we have to create comedy,” Kumar said.
The Dhamaal franchise has been entertaining Indian audiences since 2007, and the fourth installment promises to be its grandest chapter yet.

Making Comedy in a Hurricane — Literally
What makes Dhamaal 4 special isn’t just the scale — it’s the insane challenge of writing and shooting comedy inside large-scale disaster sequences. Kumar admitted this is the toughest creative balance he’s ever had to strike.
Back during the original Dhamaal, he actually dangled from a helicopter with the door open for a plane sequence. Today, modern VFX has made things safer — but the creative pressure remains very real.

Is Dhamaal 5 Already Happening?
Kumar was surprisingly candid about the future. He has ideas, but says audience reaction to Dhamaal 4 will shape everything — what works stays, what doesn’t gets dropped.
He also teased a possible Beta Part 2, and mentioned nostalgic classics like Dil and Raja still hold a special place in his heart.
