What’s King All About?
King is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most-anticipated releases of 2026. Directed by Siddharth Anand (Pathaan, War), the action-thriller reunites the iconic SRK–Deepika duo and also features Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, alongside an ensemble cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Raghav Juyal.
Behind-the-scenes footage that leaked online last week — including a glimpse of Deepika and SRK filming a song at a Cape Town waterfront — went massively viral. Director Siddharth Anand later appealed to fans to stop circulating leaked content, urging everyone to wait for the “surprise on the big screen.”
The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment — Shah Rukh Khan’s own production house, known for backing some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters.
Why This Moment Matters
This isn’t just a celebrity airport sighting. It signals that the Cape Town schedule of King is officially in the can, pushing the Christmas 2026 release firmly on track. For Bollywood fans and film buffs, that’s huge news.
