Dasham Avatar: A few months ago, there were rumors that prevalent actress Jaya Ahsan would be seen in West Bengal’s director Srijit Mukherji’s film. Those rumors are going to come true. Jaya will be seen in Srijit’s “Dasham Avatar”. Many Kolkata movie stars play in the film, including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rupam Islam, Anirban Bhattacharya, Anupam Roy, Jisshu Sengupta, and Indradeep Dasgupta.
Jaya confirmed the news by taking several photos of the logo launch ceremony of the film’s name on her proven Facebook page. Jaya is seen with all the famous stars of West Bengal in the photos. On the other needle, Srijit told Kolkata media that there are many reasons to cast Jaya. First, she can give time. He said that she also has acting skills and that her performances over the last few years were considered.
This Durga Puja, the hit pair, is coming back with a new film. The biggest surprise is that it will be a double prolog of Srijit’s ‘Baishe Srabon’ and ‘Vinci Da.’ Already creating a massive social media buzz, Srijit’s upcoming Puja issue will
have an ensemble cast including Prosenjit, Anirban Bhattacharya, Jisshu Sengupta, and Subhashree Ganguly. Not only Prosenjit but Jisshu coming back to Srijit’s picture is also a double bonanza.
Srijit has planned to create his cop world with this new film. We all know how Prosenjit’s cop Dasham Avatar in the ace filmmaker’s cult classic ‘Baishe Srabon created history. Even in ‘Vinci Da’, Srijit introduced Anirban in place of a no-nonsense police officer who can go to any extent to solve a case. Now, he requirements to expand these two films into a cop universe. As per sources close to the development, the discredited, ruthless cop Probir Roy Chowdhury will join hands with Anirban’s cop character Bijoy Poddar to solve a case. Incidentally, Anupam Roy will be comprising the film so it will be an additional musical reunion.
Expected Plot of Dasham Avatar
As we have seen in the past, big-budget Bengali pictures have worked wonders at the box office during Durga Puja. One can immobile recall how Autograph enjoyed houseful shows for more than two months level after Puja in 2010, ‘Baishe Srabon also saw massive footfalls during the 2011 Puja release. In fact, ‘Autograph’ once showed how big Tollywood issues can rock the Durga Puja box office.
This will undoubtedly be a happiness for those who eagerly wait for Srijit Mukherji’s Dasham Avatar film. Interestingly, it will be a mega box office clank for Tollywood this Durga Puja, especially when three highly anticipated films have already locked their slots. Srijit’s upcoming film Dasham Avatar will be up against Dev’s ‘Bagha Jatin,’ Arindam Sil’s Mitin Mashi film with Koel Mallick, and Sh-broad Mukherjee-Nandita Roy’s ‘Roktobeej’ featuring Abir Chatterjee besides Mimi Chakraborty.
