Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty drops its new trailer

After weeks of hints and teases, CD Projekt RED has released a brand-new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and has confirmed a release date for later this year. Following one of the worst launches in video game history, Cyberpunk 2077 has enjoyed a sort of renaissance thanks to a slew of upgrades that have grown and turned the game into what the studio most likely envisioned. The turnaround not only attracted more players but also fueled CD Projekt RED’s highest financial quarter ever in Q3 2022.

The franchise’s continued development within the context of the game’s spectacular success prompted CD Projekt RED to announce both a sequel and a new expansion. Actor Idris Elba was revealed as a key character that players would be interacting with when Phantom Liberty was first revealed at The Game Awards in 2022.

Even while fans were ecstatic, CD Projekt RED quickly went black and chose to keep its developers’ heads down rather than talk about the experience.

A release date has been set for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, indicating that the effort spent on development has paid dividends.

Keanu Reeves once more took the stage at the Xbox Showcase Event to debut the newest Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty teaser. The video gave a little more background on why V teams up with the President in Dogtown, a brand-new place.

Things suddenly change as a result of deceit, betrayals, and espionage despite a promise to preserve V’s life in exchange for helping the NUSA save the President. V tries to complete the objective in a rush with a little assistance from potential allies like Solomon Reed, who is portrayed by Idris Elba.

The trailer also confirms the expansion’s release date, which has been widely speculated about by players. Thankfully, fans now know that they will be able to return to Cyberpunk 2077 on September 26, 2023. If recent clues are to be believed, fans may be able to get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty much sooner.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty launches on September 26, 2023 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
