CR7 is in the news again but not for yet another football magic this time. Rather, it’s about the refurbishment of his apartment in the capital of Portugal.
Cristiano Ronaldo gets the permit to renovate the entrance of his exquisite apartment in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. The most expensive property in the city had previous controversies when Ronaldo was forced to remove an unlicensed canopy.
Cristiano Ronaldo receives permit for new construction project
However, Cristiano Ronaldo has now got permission for a new construction project. He has been granted permission from the Lisbon City Council to construct a shaded pergola rather than a canopy. The first news of renovation came in 2021 after CR7’s partner Georgina Rodriguez shared a video displaying a metal structure on the terrace that was not included in the actual plan.
After an inspection from the council, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to exclude the awning, and now he’s ready to remodel the space with the correct authorization.
More about the property
The apartment is worth approximately 7.2 million euros and stands at one of the most expensive residential spaces in the city, opposite Euardo VII Park. Boasting a 288 sq.m space, it includes a spa, a cinema hall, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and a terrace with scintillating views of the Tagus river.
The architect, Jose Mateus, had criticized the earlier refurbishments, saying that they were carried out “without the consent of architects, neighbors, and without an approved project.”
Ronaldo has now approval to refurbish the entrance of his gorgeous apartment in Lisbon, Portugal.
Two years back, CR7 had to exclude the unlicensed canopy, but it has the proper rights now. The Portuguese newspaper Noticias ao Minuto has stated that the Portuguese legend has been approved by the Lisbon City Council for the construction of a shaded pergola.
