Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his second hat-trick in three games for Al Nassr with his three goals against Damac taking his team back to the top of the table.
The 38-year-old found the back of the net thrice within a 26-minute period in the first half. Although the game was against a much weaker team, he showed that he can still score consistently.
Cristiano Ronaldo scores yet another hat-trick for Al-Nassr
The veteran has also registered two assists in his last appearance for Al Nassr, making for an all-round attacking display.
He scored the first goal of the game from the penalty spot, with an unstoppable effort ending up in the top corner. The second came from a remarkable pass, from outside the box. And the third saw his teammate cut back to find him for an easy shot past the goalkeeper.
Cristiano Ronaldo is now one of the contenders for the top scorer award, albeit in a lower division than he has ever played before. His teammate, Talisca, is currently leading the top scorer charts with 13 goals while he has eight.
And with the pace that he is scoring at, he could finish the season with another award to his name. Al Nassr, on the other hand, could mount a title challenge and actually go on to win the league in a few months’ time.
