Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha : TAyodhya, the spiritual heart of India, is gearing up for a historic event – the consecration of the Ram Mandir on January 22. In a unique blend of spirituality and sportsmanship, 16 cricketing legends, both past and present, have received invitations from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra to grace the momentous occasion.

While confirmation is pending for many, the confirmed attendees currently include the dynamic duo of Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh, both of whom have seamlessly transitioned from the cricket pitch to the political arena.

A total of 16 cricketers, both present and past, have been extended invitations for the Pran Pratishtha. While the confirmations are rolling in, the anticipation grows for the presence of legends like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli.

Among the invited, five are active players – Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Harmanpreet Kaur. The other nine are retired stalwarts, including Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, and Sunil Gavaskar.

Legends like Anil Kumble and Venkatesh Prasad have already graced Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishta Ceremony, symbolizing the convergence of spirituality and sportsmanship.

The cricketing maestro, Sachin Tendulkar, was among the first to receive the official invitation for the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony. His involvement adds a touch of cricketing royalty to the event, reflecting the diverse guest list. The event is not only a religious milestone but also a coming together of cultural and sporting icons.

Following Tendulkar, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his actress-wife Anushka Sharma were honored with formal invitations. The couple, known for their influence both on and off the field, received their invite personally, showcasing the significance of their attendance.

World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni, another luminary of Indian cricket, received his invite in Ranchi, marking his formal inclusion in the list of esteemed guests. His presence adds to the star-studded ensemble expected at the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony.

Preparations for the ceremony are in full swing, with renowned dignitaries, including cricketers, actors like Jackie Shroff, Rajnikanth, and Ranbir Kapoor, being invited. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is meticulously handling the invitations, ensuring a distinguished gathering of politicians, sports personalities, and celebrities.

To honor the special guests, including cricket stars, the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony will feature the gifting of ‘Ram Raj’ tokens and the distribution of special ‘Motichoor Laddus’ as ‘Prasad.’ The elaborate seating arrangements with assigned codes promise an organized and memorable experience for all attendees.

The ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony, set to be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is a momentous occasion that unites religious and cultural significance. PM Modi’s visit to the Kuber Navratna Tila and the unveiling of the bronze statue of Jatayu further enrich the ceremony.
