Cozy Clash will last for one month and will feature top-of-the-line competition. The final stage is to be played within an IRL physical arena in real-time in the Lenovo Legion Esports Center in Frisco, Texas. The final stage will see four teams competing for the prize money of $40,000 USD. Cozy Clash will be the final event of 2023. Cozy Clash will be an official event of Riot Games’ Off//SEASON program as well as the final VALORANT departure for the 2023 year that set records.
For five days Complexity turns its main office into a picture of a warm winter wonderland which will set the scene for the last Game Changers VALORANT Tournament of the year. Open qualifiers will begin prior to the World Championship and the LAN event happening just following the match in Brazil, The Cozy Clash is the ideal snack and dessert for those who are hungry gamers who are part of this Game Changers scene.
Cozy Clash comes after the highly successful Complexity Paradox Invitational powered by Lenovo Legion this spring, with the aim of supporting females and non-binary athletes in celebration of Women’s History Month. The new event is the newest chapter in the successful collaboration with Complexity Gaming and Lenovo Legion in their mission to showcase and encourage inspiring, original and diverse stories while expanding opportunities and enhancing inclusion for the next generation of gamers in esports.
Qualifier Rules:
The Open qualifying tournaments will be open to all who are qualified to compete in Game Changers tournaments, with no thresholds or requirements for skill. For two Double Elimination tournaments, a maximum of four LAN participants will be selected. The dates for qualifying are selected in conjunction with Riot’s Off//SEASON calendar and schedule, however, they can be modified to accommodate the needs of all players in mind.
The qualifying event will be held over a time period of four days during the week, with an additional day to accommodate earlier start times to ensure that everyone regardless of their real-world commitments, can have the opportunity to compete.
The second qualifier will take place during the weekend on a Sunday and a Saturday, with the final game to determine the LAN places being played on Monday. Due to the compressed schedule teams could be tired or less focused therefore we have added an additional day to the finals to ensure the best possible playing conditions and the participants who will go to Frisco, Texas.
