What Makes Hammer Jam a Game-Changer?

Imagine cutting both your upgrade costs AND times in half—that’s exactly what Hammer Jam delivers. Whether you’re working on expensive defenses or time-consuming hero upgrades, this event essentially doubles your progression speed.

The 50% cost reduction applies to all permanent upgrades, meaning your Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir stretch twice as far. Paired with the 2x resource production boost, you’ll be swimming in loot like never before. Your mines, collectors, and drills will work overtime, filling your storages faster than you can say “Town Hall 18.”

But here’s the real kicker: Builder and Research Potions become twice as effective during Hammer Jam. That means each potion shaves off double the usual time, making them incredibly valuable for rushing through major upgrades.

Clash of Clans : Strategic Tips to Dominate Hammer Jam

1. Keep Builders Busy, Not Idle The biggest mistake? Letting builders sit around doing nothing. Plan your upgrade sequence ahead of time, prioritizing high-impact buildings like defenses and resource collectors. When builders finish, immediately queue the next upgrade.

2. Max Out Your Resource Collectors First Upgrade your Gold Mines, Elixir Collectors, and Dark Elixir Drills to maximum levels early in the event. This creates a passive income stream that keeps resources flowing even when you’re offline—essential for maintaining constant builder activity.

3. Don’t Neglect Your Walls With extra resources pouring in, walls become affordable. Since wall upgrades don’t require builders, they’re the perfect way to dump excess loot while your builders handle larger structures.

4. Time Your Potions Wisely Save your Builder and Research Potions for expensive, lengthy upgrades. A 14-day hero upgrade becomes seven days normally, but during Hammer Jam, strategic potion use can accelerate progress dramatically.

Why This Event Matters Now

Supercell traditionally launches Hammer Jam before major updates, and the community is buzzing about a potential Town Hall 18 release. Getting your base maxed—or close to it—before the new Town Hall drops gives you a massive competitive advantage.

Plus, with Clan War League running simultaneously, you’ll earn additional resources and League Medals to purchase Hammers and other upgrade boosters from the League Shop. Combined with the mysterious upcoming Community Event, November 2025 is shaping up to be the most rewarding month in Clash of Clans history.

FAQs

Do Builder and Research Potions work differently during Hammer Jam?

Yes! During Hammer Jam, Builder and Research Potions provide double their normal value because upgrade times are already reduced by 50%. This makes them extremely efficient for completing lengthy upgrades faster. Save these potions for your most time-consuming hero and troop upgrades to maximize their impact.

Can I upgrade Supercharges and Crafted Defenses at reduced costs during Hammer Jam?

No, temporary upgrades like Supercharges and Crafted Defenses are excluded from the Hammer Jam event benefits. The 50% cost and time reductions apply only to permanent building, troop, and hero upgrades. Focus your resources on standard upgrades to take full advantage of the event.
