Citroen comes into India with their C5 Aircross. It has entered the mainstream segment with Citroen C3. After testing for a couple of years in India, Citroen C3 was hit and launched in the company that has begun testing with a 7-seater version. The things are like to be named Citroyen Plus and there are almost long Ertiga or even Carens.
Citroen C3 was available for retail at La Maison Citroen physical showrooms in 19 cities. Citroen has not to segment r stop there. Along with EVs popularity that’s rising slowly. We have several manufacturers stepping foot into the arena. It’s truly Tata Motors set to trump EVs in India for a long time as it has worked on Tiago EV at a lower entry price point.
The car cost Rs. 1 lakh price bracket is moving to be the most important one for the manufacturers. Now, Citroen desires to take a big jump on this bandwagon and also get into a brawl along with Tata’s latest Tiago EV along with the latest Citroen C3 electric. Citroen C3: Features
We have the ICE-powered C3 and C3 plus, C3 electric falling into Citroen’s new plan to fetch three new models in India as a part of the C-Cubed program. The production is also set to take place at CK Birla opportunity in Thruvallur newer Chennai, Tamil Nadu along with the conventional C3 and C3 Plus, C3 electric also will be followed on a Common Modular Platform (CMP)
On social media, Citroen has asked some questions, “What is enough?”. The French brand follows on to say that an electric vehicle is good. For them, it’s far from being enough. This might hint at several projections onto the segment Citron that’s quite aiming.
Citroen C3: Expectations
As spotted several Citroen test mules in many of such past even after the launch of the C3 hatchback. There are a few of those tests the mules are quite large C3 Plus 7-seater and there are a few with the same size as that regular C3. Citroen C3 electric will be quite similar to the outgoing ICE-powered C3 and will likely part in the same interior space.
It seems the French charm of C3 is highly unlikely to be disturbed. We can also see the same set of features as well. Citroen features split LED tail lamps, faux skid plates, roof rails, body cladding, 16″ diamond cut alloy wheels, and many more.
The upcoming interior features Anodized Grey and Zesty Orange color palettes along with leatherette upholstery. There is a 10″ free-standing horizontal touchscreen infotainment system along with the wireless Apple car Play and Android Auto that’s a sporty-feeling flat-bottom steering wheel with steering mounted controls, and vertical AC vents among many others. Citroen C3 electric will expose on 29th September 2022.
