They could bring their former player back to the team, but an agreement with West Ham United regarding the transfer fee will be the most difficult part of the deal. Given that Manchester United are planning to sign Eduardo Camavinga for €30 million, Chelsea are willing to rival them in their pursuit as well.
The only update regarding signings for Chelsea has been their pursuit of Erling Haaland this summer. Roman Abramovich is reportedly working on it personally and is willing to break the bank to recruit the Borussia Dortmund star this summer.
New contracts are on the table for numerous Chelsea stars, with Kante, Christensen and Rudiger all in line for a new deal. And following his impressive performances for Italy in the Euros, Jorginho will also be offered a new deal by Chelsea following the Euros and the beginning of the season.
While Chelsea maintain interest in Brighton centre-back Ben White, Arsenal are closer to the player. They have already agreed on personal terms with him and are much closer to an agreement with the Seagulls than Chelsea. The Blues will have to swoop in fast if they hope to hijack the deal from their London rivals.
