Gold Crown Rares: The Ultimate Chase Cards

Sitting at the very top of the rarity hierarchy are the Gold Crown Rares, featuring distinctive golden holographic designs and the lowest pull rates in the entire set. These prestigious cards include Lilligant, Flame Patch, and Klefki as Gold Crown variants. With pull rates ranging from just 0.04% on the fourth card slot to 0.16% on the fifth card slot, these are the ultimate collector’s prizes in Mega Rising.

The incredibly rare “God Pack” offers a 0.05% chance (1 in 2000) where every single card ranges from Double Rare to Crown Rare—making it the holy grail of pack openings.

Immersive Rares: Cinema in Your Hands

Exclusive to Pokémon TCG Pocket, Immersive Rare cards trigger stunning cinematic animations that literally immerse you in the card’s world. The Mega Evolution ex cards in this category feature animated silhouettes of their base forms, creating a breathtaking visual spectacle. These cards combine artistic excellence with technological innovation, making them highly coveted despite their 0.222-0.88% pull rates.

Two-Shiny Rares: Double the Sparkle

The most rare Shiny cards are Two-Shiny Rares, which showcase full-art holographic versions of shiny ex Pokémon. These cards push rarity to the extreme, offering collectors the chance to own Mega Evolution ex variants with shiny colorations. Their ultra-low pull rates make them investment-worthy additions to any serious collection.

Strategic Pack Selection

Mega Rising includes three booster packs—Gyarados, Altaria, and Blaziken—with certain cards pullable from all three, while most are exclusive to single pack types. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are my actual chances of pulling a Gold Crown Rare from Mega Rising packs?

The fourth card slot in each pack has a 0.04% chance of being Crown Rare, while the fifth slot increases to 0.16%. Your best strategy is consistently opening packs and leveraging the improved Wonder Pick feature, which now prioritizes unregistered cards from latest expansions and displays your current card counts for informed selections.

Q: Can I trade for Mega Rising’s rarest cards with friends?

Not yet. The new share feature allows gifting ♦-♦♦♦♦ rarity cards, but the highest rarities like Gold Crown and Immersive Rares cannot currently be traded. Focus on opening packs and using Wonder Pick to target specific rare cards from friends’ recent pulls instead.
