The quarter final draw for the 2022/23 Champions League has been made and we have some very exciting fixtures waiting in the last eight of the tournament.

Moreover, the brackets for the semifinals have also been set which could see underdogs Napoli make it all the way to the finals this time around. On the other hand, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have all been put on one side of the draw.

Champions League 22/23 quarter final draw confirmed

  • Chelsea vs Real Madrid
  • Bayern Munich vs Manchester City
  • Inter vs Benfica
  • Milan vs Napoli

The possible semi-final matchups are:

  • Chelsea/Real Madrid vs Bayern/Man City
  • Inter/Benfica vs Milan/Napoli

Chelsea take on Real Madrid in the quarter final stages once again, in a repeat from last year. The Blues have drawn Madrid in the knockout stages for the third straight year, much like Liverpool have. The only difference is that Chelsea have advanced on one occasion while Madrid beat them last time around.

Bayern vs Manchester City is the most mouth watering clash in this round. Two of the favourites in the tournament have been put up against one another in the quarter finals, with Pep Guardiola taking on his former employees.

Napoli will be the favourites over Milan, with the odds of a Milan derby in the semi-final quite low. But given that this is the Champions League, anything is possible.
