Gareth Bale was part of the famous BBC (Bale-Benzema-Cristiano) attacking trio at Real Madrid. BBC achieved massive success in Europe as they won 3 successive UEFA Champions League titles under Zinedine Zidane.

Although Bale was an important part of the BBC, he suffered too many injuries. After Ronaldo left, everybody wanted Bale to step up and take his place but he was unable to do so as he was often injured and ruled out of playing. Instead, it was Benzema who stepped up and is now the leader of the Real Madrid attack.

Gareth Bale has also been involved in a lot of controversies due to his love for golf. He even celebrated a win with Wales by holding a Wales flag written “Wales.Golf.Madrid”. The Real Madrid fans often whistle at the Walesman when he is on the field.

However, Casemiro feels whistling a player like Bale means whistling at the history of Real Madrid.

Casemiro feels whistling a player like Bale means whistling at the history of Real Madrid

Casemiro said during Monday’s pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Chelsea, via Marca: “When a player is whistled at, we all are whistled at.”

“You can’t agree with that. I didn’t like it, because Bale is historic. When a player like that is whistled at, the history of this club is whistled at. I hope that people give us goosebumps tomorrow. We need them.”

Casemiro said about their match against Chelsea in the Champions League: “We can’t trust anything, no matter what Tuchel said.”

“They are the current champions. We need the fans. The key to everything is the [Real Madrid] badge, winning when nobody believes it. As they say: ‘Until the end, let’s go Real’.”

“We do not trust anything, even if we played the best 90 minutes of the season there. It will be hard, we need our people [to cheer us on].”
