Forget backroom deals — Park Hae Kang is winning this election on the dance floor. JTBC’s hit drama “The Apartment Job” just dropped new stills of Ji Sung leading a full-blown campaign dance number, and fans are here for the chaos.

The series follows Park Hae Kang, a former gang boss turned resident council candidate, who’s really after his apartment complex’s massive hidden reserve fund. Along the way, his fake marriage and fake family scheme keeps spiraling into something oddly wholesome — and hilarious.

Behind The Scenes Fun

According to the production team, Ji Sung reportedly turned the set into pure chaos, shouting his campaign slogan with unstoppable energy between takes. His co-stars matched him beat for beat, throwing in witty ad-libs that had the crew cracking up.

It’s the kind of scrappy, big-hearted comedy that has made Ji Sung one of Korean television’s most reliable leading men — an actor known for elevating even outlandish premises with genuine charm, much like the tradition of Korean drama, a storytelling format documented in detail on Wikipedia.

With corruption still lurking beneath the surface of the apartment complex, Hae Kang’s dance-floor charm offensive might just be the twist that turns skeptical neighbors into loyal voters.
