The Haunting event update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has come, bringing with it tons of special goodies. There’s a lot to discover, from fresh new operators like Skeletor, Ash, and Inarius to coveted event goodies. To commemorate Halloween, new The Haunting-themed maps will be added to the multiplayer.
As The Haunting returns, brace yourself for terrifying thrills, the shambling undead, the squad’s quest for monstrous monsters, and those iconic jump-scares. The Haunting event adds Halloween-themed Maps, Modes, Events, and other content to both games.
The Soul Capture Event, which is available in Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone, is an improved and terrifying twist on Season 03’s popular Trophy Hunt Event. When a player is eliminated, they leave a Soul behind. This is available in all game variants.
In all game types, these Souls are immediately added to your total. This means there’s no need to go to a Buy Station in Call of Duty: Warzone or DMZ this time to trade for the items featured in the Events Tab.

As The Haunting’s creeping fear infiltrates Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone, players can expect to get a range of free, limited-time cosmetic items simply by logging into the game as The Haunting progresses.
Along with Map modifications, The Haunting adds Halloween twists to some modes. While the ultimate goals may be the same, try not to be terrified while fulfilling them.
