Bugatti has made a name for itself as a luxury carmaker with top speed as its main priority. The carmaker is working on its electric hypercar but it has announced the release of its first electric vehicle, but it is an electric scooter with standard specs.
The brand new e-scooter is the result of Bugatti’s partnership with Bytech International. The new scooter weighs just 15.8 KG and has been constructed with magnesium alloy and as per Buggati, it is aerodynamic and functional.
The new e-scooter has a top speed of 30 KM/h due to its 700W electric motor. The Bugatti Veyron has a power rating that is more than 1,000 times than the new e-scooter. The scooter is made for short commutes and is not your typical e-scooter, maybe Bugatti is developing one but for now, we do not know.
The frame of the e-scooter is accentuated with taillights that look very pleasing aesthetically while the vehicle is in motion.
The sidelights project downwards from the deck to also create a unique illumination as the vehicle cruises, it also features turn signals, while the LED screen displays an array of notifications relating to battery usage, riding mode, speed, and light status.
The scooter gives you a range of 35KM with its 360Wh battery which can be recharged easily via a standard wall socket. The EV market is attracting interest from traditional carmakers, Buggati seems to be pursuing its business model along this line as well, although there is no word on when the e-scooter will release or the pricing of the bike. It is expected that the company could attempt to leverage its pedigree as a luxury carmaker in fixing the price of the e-scooter.
