BTS’ J-Hope Teases Kendrick Lamar Collaboration, Announces Two New Singles After Jimmy Fallon Show

BTS’ J-Hope is back in the spotlight, and he’s making sure fans have plenty to be excited about. Fresh off his electrifying appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the rapper and dancer surprised ARMY with a spontaneous live session on Weverse. While fans initially speculated about a possible new album or a comeback tour, Hobi had a different kind of surprise in store—two brand-new singles.

J-Hope’s latest track, Sweet Dreams, featuring Miguel, has already generated immense buzz, and now, he’s keeping the momentum going with more music. But that’s not all—during his chat with Fallon, he also addressed the possibility of collaborating with rap legend Kendrick Lamar.

J-Hope Returns with a Bang

Fans have come to expect the unexpected from BTS, and J-Hope’s latest Weverse live session was no different. While many assumed he was gearing up for a major announcement, the rapper playfully teased, “I have big news.”

However, before diving into his major revelation, Hobi kept things lighthearted by dancing to Despacito and engaging with fans. Eventually, he dropped the exciting news—he would be releasing two more singles following Sweet Dreams.

While some fans hoped for a full-length album, J-Hope shared that he’s taking a different approach. He explained that he wants to take his time crafting an album with a clear vision, rather than rushing the process. “An album isn’t just a random collection of songs; it needs a theme and direction,” he said. His words reassured ARMY that when he does release an album, it will be something truly special.

The Tonight Show Appearance and Kendrick Lamar Talk

J-Hope’s March 10 appearance on The Tonight Show was one of the most talked-about moments of his promotional run. Sitting down with Jimmy Fallon, he discussed Sweet Dreams, his admiration for Kendrick Lamar, and even recreated some of the rapper’s iconic dance moves.

The conversation naturally led to the million-dollar question—would J-Hope ever collaborate with Kendrick Lamar? While he didn’t confirm anything, his response was enough to send ARMY into a frenzy. The show’s official Instagram account later shared a post reading, “@bts.bighitofficial’s @uarmyhope does the ‘Not Like Us’ dance and reveals he’d like to work with Kendrick.”

With BTS members known for their boundary-pushing collaborations, fans are now eagerly waiting to see if this dream team-up will ever become a reality.

What’s Next for J-Hope?

With two new singles on the horizon, J-Hope’s solo career is reaching new heights. His recent release, Sweet Dreams, has already set the stage for what’s to come, marking his first solo project since Hope on the Street Vol. 1.

While fans may have to wait a little longer for a full album, J-Hope’s approach ensures that every release is carefully curated and meaningful. Whether or not a Kendrick Lamar collaboration happens remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—J-Hope is just getting started, and ARMY is here for every moment of it.
