“BTS Is Seven” — ARMY Shuts Down “Jungkook Leave BTS” Trend Sparked by ARIRANG Poster Drama and Heeseung’s ENHYPEN Exit

March 10, 2026 turned into one of the most chaotic days in recent K-pop history — and it all happened simultaneously. Two separate fan communities were shaken to their core within hours of each other, and the internet predictably collided them into one spiralling conversation. BTS ‘s Two Events That Triggered Everything

What Happened With the ARIRANG Poster?

As promotional visuals for BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG circulated across social media and public locations in Seoul, fans began examining them closely — and some pointed out that the glare from stage lighting crosses the exact positions where Jungkook and j-hope stand, leaving their faces partly covered while other members appear more clearly in the same composition. Fans quickly began discussing the issue across social platforms, urging HYBE to adjust the promotional visuals so every member could be seen properly. Several posts expressed confusion about how such an image could be approved during preparations for a major comeback.

As frustration built, “Jungkook Leave BTS” unexpectedly began trending — amplified partly by solo fans and partly by the fresh shock of a separate K-pop bombshell.

Heeseung’s Exit From ENHYPEN Added Fuel to the Fire

BELIFT LAB confirmed that Heeseung will leave ENHYPEN but remain signed to the label as he prepares to launch his solo career, stating the decision was made after a long period of deliberation between the artist, the group, and management. The remaining members — Jake, Jay, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki — will continue as ENHYPEN.

The comparison was instant. Many fans described Heeseung leaving ENHYPEN as the equivalent of Jungkook leaving BTS. That framing, combined with the poster controversy, made the trend explode — but ARMY wasn’t having it.

ARMY’s Response Was Immediate and Emphatic

The “BTS IS SEVEN” counter-movement overwhelmed the trending topic within hours. Long-time fans pointed to Jungkook’s own words and history as proof enough — a man who once delayed his solo debut out of loyalty to his members was never going anywhere. BTS’s Arirang World Tour launches April 9 at Goyang Stadium and runs through March 2027 across 34 cities in 23 countries — 82-plus shows, all sold out. That schedule alone makes the “leaving” narrative hard to sustain. Follow all the latest BTS and K-pop updates on TechnoSports.
